CCMC177 – Colour Challenge

Good evening, a very quick post tonight as I am ready for bed but just realised a card I made for this weeks challenge over at create with Connie and Mary is due to close tonight so I thought I had better quickly post it.

I made a card the same earlier this week but in different colours and when I saw the colour challenge I thought it really suited this card.

Here is the colour chart:

I can’t say I have used River Rock very much if at all so it was great to finally pull out some cardstock and give it a go.

Now who can guess how the shirts were made. I brought this amazing tutorial off the very talented Jackie Topa.

Have a great night.

Farewell Card

Good evening, earlier this week my husband asked me to make his work college a farewell card, now he had mentioned earlier in the month that he wanted one, but he wanted it to be a bit more personal as he has worked with this guy for a while so wanted to help design it. Yes he forgot about it until the last-minute so we designed it and made it in one night. What a rush but I really like the finished card the size is a A3 folded in half so quite a big space to fill. But thank goodness with the cricut you can change the size to suit.

Now as you can see by the card he loves science and Formula One Racing.

I have used all Stampin Up cardstock except the silver and the alphabet is from the Medium Alphabet Sizzix Die Set.

Two Challenges in One Card

Good afternoon, today I have made a card that fits two different challenges which is a bonus since I find it hard to do even one these days. I made this card for my mum who had her birthday in the weekend but true to form I am running a bit late posting it.

The two challenges are Try Stampin on Tuesday and Create with Connie and Mary. This is a new challenge I have just discovered.

Here is Try Stampin on Tuesday’s sketch:

And here is Create with Connie and Mary’s sketch:

Afternoon Fun

Good afternoon, today my daughter and I did some baking. We made some chocolate chip cookies but to make them special we used different shaped cookie cutters and iced them. Caitlyn had a lot of fun and really enjoyed her self. I did the baking, (well she did help eat the mix and of course add in the ingredients) and then we cut them out together. For the icing I did the main icing and Caitie decorated them. Here are some photos of the final product:

This is my new favourite stamp set it is called Creative Elements. I know it doesn’t show in the photo but the top left one and the bottom right one has an added centre to pop them out a bit more. Colours used are Real red and Basic Black with Black Saturn Ribbon.
