ESAD OCCASIONS BLOG HOP

OCC SAB 2015 ESAD BLOG HOP-001

Welcome to my blog, I hope you have found some inspiration from these talented ladies. I have been really busy working on all new product as I am going on a stamp camp next weekend. I am teaching so I have a lot of samples, but until after camp I cant share sorry. But I am going to share with you a card I have made. I still have not put a sentiment on it, as I feel this one could be used for multiple occasions.  I made it for my mum to give a friend but she said it didn’t really suit the guy, but that’s ok, I have another masculine card to add to my collection. I have used the stamp Set called Moon Lake, this is a beautiful set and to me has so many different uses.

photo-5

I have stamped on Whisper White in Staz on, then water coloured the image. For this I have just used my Aqua Painter and taken colour from the lids of my ink pads. For the back ground I have used the stamp set called Woodgrain. I have finished it off with some Twine around the image and tied it into a knot. This was a nice easy card to put together and easy to re-create.

I will share one thing I have made for stamp camp, and that is this beautiful flower made using the Bouquet Bigz Die.

photo-6

I have placed it beside my scissors so you can compare the size. This is huge and takes a whole sheet of DSP. but it was fun to make, and I love the effect it will give as an embellishment on a project.

Thank you for stopping by.

Raccoon Love

Good morning, today I thought I would share with you a cute 3D project my kids will be making this afternoon at craft class. I found him  on pinterest and just fell in love with him. its a great punch art project.

For the box though I have used the retired Fancy Favor Bigz die. I have also used a bit of bling for his eyes as the technique she used would be too hard for the kids to do.

Here is a link to Kimberley Morris’s website: http://procrastistamper.blogspot.co.nz/

Clever Owls

Good afternoon, today I have a cake and matching card to share with you, that I made for my sons teacher’s 30th birthday last month. His block at school are called the clever owls so it was only fitting that the card and cake were one too.

Both owls are identical in size as I used the same tools for both.

First of all here is the cute card I made:

photo 4(10)

I have used the circle framelits for the owls body, and embossed the centre part with the stars folder. the bow is made using two hears and sticking a circle in the middle of them. The feet are just scallop circles. I have done an ombre effect down the side of the cake.

Here is the matching cake:

Creative Inkers Holiday Blog Hop

Badge Blog Hop Final

Good evening and welcome to the first ever Creative Inkers Blog Hop.  Tonight we have for you some fantastic ideas using products from the new Holiday Catalogue that is released tomorrow.

I am going to share a 3-D item I made for our last team meeting. I have made a candy stick that you can hang from your Christmas Tree. Why buy those candy canes from the shop when you can create your own unique treats. I have used the new Stamp set called Bright and Beautiful. This is a set of 8 stamps and the stars coordinate with the Star Framelits in our main catalogue.

For the center star I have used our Simply Pressed Clay and pressed the stamp into the clay. I have then dipped it in gold ink and clear embossed them.

ESAD Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Good evening and welcome to the ESAD blog hop. I hope you have had a great time going through everyone’s blogs. Haven’t they done a fantastic job.

For my share I have made a couple of cards. The first two are using the new stamp set called Work of Art. This is my favourite set at the moment and is so versatile.

This one I made for our team swap. At the time I had a cast on my hand and I couldn’t use scissors very well so I had to make my card very simple, but I loved how it turned out.

Here it is with the envelope:

For my second card, I have also used the same set and also the new in colours. This card I made at a class I attended:

June’s Class Projects

Good afternoon, today I have two projects to share with you that my lovely ladies made in June’s class.

For the first one we made a set of cards in a cute folder. This stamp set took me a bit to like, but now I love how easy it is to use and how effective it it on a one layer card. The colours used are from the regals and neutrals collection .

This is the cover of the folder:

photo 5(1)

this is what the folder looks like inside. Each side holds two cards and matching envelopes:

photo 4(1)

Here are what the cards look like with matching centres and envelopes:

photo 3(2)

Inks: Rose Red, Island Indigo, Crushed Curry and Perfect Plum.

Stamps: Sweet Essentials, Summer Silhouettes, Itty Bitty Banners.

Embossing Folder: Fancy Fan.

Punch: Elegant Butterfly.

Other: Pearls, Vellum, staples.

For the second project we did something a little fun we made a decorative hot chocolate cup. This a super cute idea and the ladies loved it. I have covered the cup in DSP, then used markers to to the labels. we have stuck he hot chocolate on with a glue dot but also the twine is wrapped around it too.

photo 2(5)

Here is a picture of the cup up close:

photo 1(5)

Stamps: Label Love, Gorgeous Grunge

Inks: Calypso Coral, Coastal Cobana, Smoky Slate.

Punch/Die:  Artisan Label, Deco Labels Collection.

DSP: Eastern Elegance.

Other: Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Double Sided Tape, Hot Choc Sachet, Marshmallows.

Gift Tags 2

Good morning and welcome back, today I have two more tags to share with you, these ones are made on Whisper White Card Stock.

These two are made with Real Red but I have stamped on the tag and sponged around the edges in Sahara Sand.

photo 2(2)

and for the second one I have made the flowers using Daffodil Delight and decided to leave these without a sentiment on them.

photo 1(1)

All the tags came with a piece of ribbon and string to hang on a gift, but they also came with a dimensional on the back in case they would rather stick to the gift.

Here is a photo of all four tags together. I did make a lovely topper for the bag that also had a 3-D flower on it, they could also use.
