ESAD Holiday Blog Hop

Good evening and welcome to my blog, and of course another great ESAD blog hop. Didn’t you just love Keryn’s project.

For my posting I have two cards to show you. I have made some shaker cards from products in our new Holiday Catalogue.

For the first one I have based my card on a design I found on the web and then made it my own. I have found the Confetti Stars Punch great for shaker cards, the tiny stars make great confetti for the centres, and when you punch out a couple of different colours, it is very cute. I have used my markers and coloured in a tree from the set Festival of Trees. This is a photopolymer stamp set, so for only $33.95 you get 13 stamps. I have masked and sponged the grass at the base of the trees. For my shaker layer I have used the Shaker frames from page 205 in the annual Catalogue, and moulded them around the larger circle. The embossing folder is called Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Last but not least is my sentiment, this is from our current promotion, and you can earn this for free. It is called Good Greetings.

Here is a picture with the envelope. The middle of the card is the same as the envelope.

For my second card, I made this at a class I attended last month and is also a shaker card, so I thought I would share it as well.

On this card we have used the Star framelits as our base. We have embossed the star with the Perfect Polka Dots folder. The sentiment is from Wonderful Wreath Frameits Die set. Don’t you just love the border at the top and bottom, this has been created with All is Calm Designer Washi Tape. You get five different designs in this set. We have just finished it with lining the edge with some cut offs from our Silver Glimmer Paper. The envelope has been created using our Envelope Punch Board.
