Sneak Peak from the 2014-2015 Catalogue

good morning and welcome back to my blog. Isn’t it getting exciting, only 5 more days and the new catalogue starts. As demonstrators we are very lucky to pre-order some product and have a play. Today I have a card I made for our team training day last Saturday. Sadly I couldn’t make the training but I did get to join in for the swaps.

For my card I have used the stamp set called Work of art. This is a very versatile set and another great one for one layer cards.

Due to injuring my thumb and having it in a cast I have not been able to do much cutting so I needed to keep my card quite simple. The birds are from the stamp set called Wetlands and they have been embossed.

I have used the new 2014-2015 in-colours, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist a long side Sahara Sand.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

June’s Class Projects

Good afternoon, today I have two projects to share with you that my lovely ladies made in June’s class.

For the first one we made a set of cards in a cute folder. This stamp set took me a bit to like, but now I love how easy it is to use and how effective it it on a one layer card. The colours used are from the regals and neutrals collection .

This is the cover of the folder:

this is what the folder looks like inside. Each side holds two cards and matching envelopes:

Embossing Folder: Fancy Fan.

For the second project we did something a little fun we made a decorative hot chocolate cup. This a super cute idea and the ladies loved it. I have covered the cup in DSP, then used markers to to the labels. we have stuck he hot chocolate on with a glue dot but also the twine is wrapped around it too.

ESAD Retiring Blog Hop

Good evening and welcome to the ESAD retiring blog hop. It is always sad to say goodbye to the stamps and accessories, especially if we have a favourite retiring, but it is also very exciting to know that we have new products arriving.

For my cards I have used the set called Baby Prints. I got the design from a very talented lady called Kristine McNickle. I have pressed the stamp into our clay and let it set. The ribbon is the retired Satin Ribbon. The sentiment is also a set that is retiring. I love the font on this set and will miss this one a lot. It is from Sweet Essentials.

Here it is in Blue:

Here it is in Pink:

here is the card with its matching envelope, the inside of my cards match the envelope:

For the next card i have used the stamp set called secret graden. this has been stamped on vellum then placed on Whisper White Card. I have made the gold dotted Vellum myself by making a template with punched out circles and then versa marked over the template and then embossed. The sentiment is also from Sweet Essentials.

Gift Tags 2

Good morning and welcome back, today I have two more tags to share with you, these ones are made on Whisper White Card Stock.

These two are made with Real Red but I have stamped on the tag and sponged around the edges in Sahara Sand.

photo 2(2)

and for the second one I have made the flowers using Daffodil Delight and decided to leave these without a sentiment on them.

photo 1(1)

All the tags came with a piece of ribbon and string to hang on a gift, but they also came with a dimensional on the back in case they would rather stick to the gift.

Here is a photo of all four tags together. I did make a lovely topper for the bag that also had a 3-D flower on it, they could also use.

Gift Tags using the Spiral flower Die

Good morning, today I have a couple of gift tags to show you. I have made these to sell at my markets in a pack of two.

For the first two I have used Real Red with Victoria Lace Ribbon and Stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners and cut them out using the co-coordinating die.

And for the second lot I have used Very Vanilla with Victoria Lace Ribbon and Natural Chevron Ribbon.
