My Special Gift

good afternoon,

As promised here is what I received in the post from my secret Sister, Wow is all I can say, she has done an amazing job and the gift is just beautiful. Before I even opened the box I loved how she made it, there is a little piece of ribbon on the top which you hold while opening the box to help lift the lid without damaging the box. Bev Poultney has used Shrink plastic and stamped on it and then heated it to create these beautiful earrings and necklace. The cupcake candle smells so nice, but of course I don’t want to open the package to use it. And now look at that chocolate, Yes it is all still there, but I can tell you it wont be for long. The card is stunning as well and your words inside are really special. Thank you so much Bev. Now here are the photos:

Crafters Anonymous Secret Sister Swap

Wow two posts in Two days, today’s post is also a secret Sister swap I made, this time it is a one-off gift but is also to be handmade. I spent a lot of time on this and completed it in a few weeks. It is now revealed who has who for the swap so I can also share this one with you.

I based this swap around the new hostess papers and chocolate of course. The box contained four standard sized cards and envelopes, four 3×3 cards and envelopes and four gift tags. It also had a note pad and pen and a little pocket to hold postage stamps. The tin contained chocolate.

Secret Sister Swap Month One

Good afternoon,

For today’s post I am sharing a gift I have made for one of my secret sister swaps. This one is over three months and we are to send two card off during the month and one $10 gift at the end of the month, yes I did spend quite a bit more but when you have an idea in your head its hard not to go with it. Yvonne knows its me so I figured it was ok to post what I have made for her.

I went to the local shop and brought a frame with the holes in it for several photos, I then added a few embellishments and stamps to add a bit more character and prettiness to it. Here are the photos.

I had a lot of fun making this and I hope Yvonne liked it too.

Missing In Action + some exciting news.

Good evening, I have been hard out making cards to sell at my local school and also beem making gifts for two secret sister swaps I am involved in, I can not show you those just yet but as soon as I can I will. I have also been making some cute Christmas cards, which I am hoping to blog this week.

But more exciting news for me, I have been asked to make cards for a local shop to sell, she brought one of my cards at the school and contacted me to make some for her, so tonight while watching TV I finished the first 10 cards, that’s only twenty to go. I also have to make up some party invites to show her and best of all CREATE a santa House, yes you read right. I have been given a solid wooden letter box to turn into a santa letter box, but kitted out to look like a house inside and out. (a lot of work in that one)

So lets hope some time in the next few days I will post a few cards.

Narelle.
