Good morning, today I thought I would share with you a cute 3D project my kids will be making this afternoon at craft class. I found him on pinterest and just fell in love with him. its a great punch art project.
For the box though I have used the retired Fancy Favor Bigz die. I have also used a bit of bling for his eyes as the technique she used would be too hard for the kids to do.
Here is a link to Kimberley Morris’s website: http://procrastistamper.blogspot.co.nz/
I have placed a small bag of lollies inside the box.
Thank you for stopping by.

I thought I would use the Christmas paper to make this cute handbags since it had greens and earthy colours in it. The best thing about this card is that it could be a Christmas card or a birthday card.
Here is another tin I have made, this one is just for Christmas:
And the pretty flower on top.
Thank you for stopping by. Hope you have a great week.

Good morning, here is the next gift I made Helen for month two:
This is the gift altogether:
I made this mini album for her using one of the stamp sets she told me she likes
This is a tin I have decorated and filled with chocolates just for Helen, I have a lot of fun making this as gifts.
This is a little gift card holder:
Good evening, tonight I have a card that I made for my fellow demonstrators that have celebrated their birthday either in July, August or September. Yes I know I am a bit late for the July ones, but hey better late than never right. Over at crafters Anonymous they have a challenge and that is every Tuesday to case a card from Pinterest. For the first time ever I thought I would give this ago.
Here is the original card I liked, sorry I don’t know who made this one.
I love this card but I needed to make a dozen of them so I scaled it down a bit. Here is my version:
Hope you have a great week.
Just take a look at this beauty, I have to say this is now my new favourite 3-D item to make, a handmade box with a stunning handmade flower to finish it off. This is what we made at our last class with Jacque. Inside is a gourmet jar of spices. The box is a simple box made from the 2 by 2 concept but the flower is what gives it the charm it needs, this is made of multiple punches and each one is stamped then sponged, you then scrunch each one up individually and open it back out place a brad in the centre and squish it back together to form its shape. Now you know its a nice flower when you bring it home and your husband asks if that is a real rose on the box.
For the second project we made this stunning card. We made the pendent using the new score tool and a hot glue gun. It is finished with two flowers punched out with the Bo Ho Blossoms punch and some vintage ribbon.
Now this is one you see and just go oh that is so cute. As soon as I saw it over at http://www.paperpunchaddiction.com/2011/08/peachy-keen-lfif-challenge-21-shape.html I knew I just had to case it. This lady is one talented person and her work is amazing.
I have done two versions of the card and I am working on a third which I will post when it is finished. Here are my cards. The first one is using the Top Note Die and making an Easel Card.
And for the second one I used the Top Note Die again but this time placed it on white backing card, and as you can see I added the balloons and even made the Top Note Die look like a wall by scoring it then lightly sponging over it.
With the Envelope:
Good afternoon, we had a fantastic morning this morning. We started with chocolate chip pancakes, then the kids gave daddy and mummy their eggs, (yum) and Nan-Lyn gave the kids her eggs that the Easter bunny left for them at her house. I then gave the kids an empty Easter basket I made and we did a big Easter hunt outside.
Both kids had a great time, this was Bradley’s first Easter hunt and he did really well, He had to find the blue and yellow eggs where as Caitlyn had to find the red and pink eggs.
Here are some photos of their baskets and the kids on the hunt.
As you can see they had a great time, I can’t believe how much chocolate is sitting on my table right now. We also got Caitlyn a chocolate Rotator, so she can make her own and see how they are made.
Have a great Easter everyone, and for those attending the Anzac parades tomorrow I do hope the weather improves for you. When the kids get a bit bigger I would love to take them to the dawn parade, so they understand more about what tomorrow is for.
