Good morning, Well we have had a funny weekend here in Auckland, we had a cyclone come through yesterday and thankfully didn’t do any damage to our place, but a few friends of mine out in the country did get a bit of damage to their properties. Today the sun is trying to shine through and I am meant to be doing a market this afternoon, but the weather is not looking to good for an outdoor market and feel its not worth destroying all my work and risking the rain. So I am instead going to design some card packs that I would like to sell to fundraise for my daughter who will be heading to Australia later this year for cheerleading.
For today’s post I am sharing what my girls did last week for craft class. For a special treat I brought in a plain white tee-shirt each and some Satz-on ink pads, but I also brought some puff paints for the girls to play with. Here are the results, as you can see they are all so different:
These two were my favourites:
I just love Renee’s giraffe, all the poka-dots were fantastic and they puffed up really well (sorry forgot to take a photo of this one all puffed)
This one is Caitie’s:
They had to leave the shirts over night and the either using a hair drier or heat gun they could puff up the paint. Here is Caitie’s after its puffed up:
sorry about all the wrinkles, i pulled this out of the washing machine. The puff paints and the staz-on are all permanent so you can wash these normally in the machine, which is fantastic.
Enjoy the rest of your sunday.
