Christmas Acetate Cards

Good afternoon, well it has been a very wet day here in Auckland. We had a beautiful day yesterday nothing but sun shine and today is the complete opposite, I am glad we got the lawns mowed and the gardens started.

For today’s cards I have the two acetate cards we made at Jacques last month for our techniques class. The first one is  basic stamping on acetate. We also stamped on the card stock behind the acetate to give a 2-D effect. The snow flake on the front is using heat and stick powder, then SU’s glitter.

And the inside:

For the second card which is my favourite, we have used acetate, but we have placed Crystal Effects on the back and placed a few drops of re-inker and smeared it around, then sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds. On the front we have stamped in black Staz On. I’m not sure if you can get the full effect of this one in a photo but it is stunning, it really looks like it is snowing.

If you would like to learn how to make either of these cards, please feel free to contact me.
