Seasons Greetings

Wow what a beautiful day today, maybe a bit too hot but still very nice. My front yard is still very much a building site, but our back yard just needs a little fence (so the children don’t fall over the retaining wall) and some grass seed and then it is finished.

Todays post is a lovely card I made this morning. Julia came over for a few hours (man it goes so quickly) and we made some cards. I borrowed a set off her called Welcome Christmas. At first I wasn’t taken with this set but now that I have used it, I love it. I thought this stamp is just perfect for my friends who have little children, which is a few of them.

I have used the stamp set Baroque Motifs for the background in the same colour as the card stock. The image is done in VersaMark and then white embossing powder. The ribbon is the new 5/8” satin ribbon available.

This is a really simple card, yet I really like it.

Can you spot the difference, the top one has an extra border on the picture in red where as the second one only has white.
